This is by far the most wonderful campground in Maine and Possibly New England. So kid friendly and the Owners are the best! Great Atving and anything else the great Maine woods Can offer.

Best campground EVER!
0 % of users found this review helpful
My husband and I have done lots of camping over the years and this is seriously the BEST CAMPGROUND EVER! We had booked our site a few weeks in advance no problem....until mother nature decided to "rain" on our parade. So we called and asked if it was possible to change our days so we wouldnt be cooped up the whole time we were there and they were very accommodating! It was no problem at all. We had so much fun 4wheeling while we were there that we wanted to stay another night....which was also not a problem at all. We are seriously considering buying a seasonal pass. If you get a chance to check out this campground I strongly suggest it! You wont be disappointed. =)

Great Campground
0 % of users found this review helpful
I think that the true rating of a campground is when you invite your friends to camp with you. This is the place. Probably the hardest working owners I've met. The campground is clean, level and fun! They are very family friendly and with the movie nights, ice cream social and other events, you are never bored. Abbot is just south of Greenville and Moosehead Lake, Maine. This is one of the hidden gems of Maine and well worth getting away from the coast to visit. The campground is not on water, but Piper Pond is just 1/2 mile away and the boat landing is very open and parking is no problem. We are looking forward to coming back next year!

great place

Have been camping here since last owners and place seems to improve every year. Plenty of things to do with kids at the campground, Teeshirts, hay ride, movie, pool, ice cream social. Owners are friendly and easy to deal with. Other campers were friendly and fun. Rented one of their campers this year and it was clean and in good shape. Have scheduled the same place next year for a longer time. Will be returning for our fith year and plan on staying here for years to come. Better then any campground in NH that I have stayed at.

Had a great time... at check in I didnt even need to tell her who I was she had it already(first time going to this camp ground). sites are not on top of each other, which we love, large sites for parking and still able to move around. Nice pool and play area, restrooms were awesome!! very friendly group of campers!! we will be back!!

I just want everyone to know what a great campground this is. Very kid and family friendly! We stayed for the first time with friends and had a wonderful time. We came home and booked another weekend within one day we liked it so much. We wanted to take the kids back knowing how much they would love it. Owners Matt and Jamie are the most polite and pleasent people to get to know. They take the time to talk with you and get to know you. Thank you Matt and Jamie for a wondeful camping trip and we are looking forward to seeing you all again on Labor Day!!!

Summer Camping

This campground is fantastic. It sits right on 4 wheeling trails in Maine. There is fishing, hiking, moose sitings throughout the area. The campground is safe enough to let your children of older ages walk around and not worry about being harassed. The swimming pool is fantastic. There is not one bad site in the entire campground. The seasonals are welcoming and always happy to talk to. There is a playground for the young children. Basketball, badminton, horseshoes, and an area for parties. Hayrides, movie night during the weekends. What more can you ask for. The owners are great and they truly put out a great product at their campgroud. I would recommend this campground for campers of all ages!! You will not be disappointed.
