I was skeptical of a campground in the middle of a city but Cherry Hill was great. Our site was wooded on three sides. Our cat, who is scared of strangers, loved it. She spent most of the time we were at the campsite outside looking at squirrels, rabbits, & birds. Hardly noticed the neighbors.

I did not use any of the facilities or take advantage of the amenities so cannot really comment upon them (in order to complete the survey, I had to mark something, so gave it a C - but it could very well have been an A). So, if they're at all like what use I did get out of this Park, they're bound to be right up there with a high score (an A). My purpose in staying here was so I could get reasonable access to Annapolis (which I did on four of my days here)and downtown Washington (which I didn't do at all). At first, I was concerned about the Park's location to easily get to either place but was concern was completely unfounded. The location is excellent. On arrival in the early evening hours, the thing that struck me immediately was how extremely well-organized the front desk staff were. Everything was ready for me and all the information I would have been looking for was provided - on paper. Then it was all explained to me. The only time it was necessary for me to return to the office was to purchase a few items and to extend my stay. Would I sty here again? Most definitely. And, with the local services (such as transit) that are available from right in the Park, I'd highly recommend this Park to anyone who wants to see sites in the Washington area.

I'll start at the beginning. Pulling into this park you get the immediate impression it's going to be a good stay. The facilities are well maintained and welcoming. Next the check-in process was very professional. Clear explanation of where our site was located, and more importantly what is available nearby plus how to use public transportation. We had a premium pull thru site.Wrought iron furniture and a brick patio were really nice amenities. The public showers and rest room facilities were among the best we've seen as campers. Always clean. The checkout process was seamless. We got an email detailing the charges. This is just a really nice park with a very friendly and capable staff.
