First and foremost the staff at the campground are great people and understand the needs of guests. They definitely go above and beyond to ensure you have a great camping experience. Overall, one of the top campgrounds in the state of Ohio. We have camped here multiple times. The best part of the facility: 1.) Awesome pool 2.) Paved drives throughout (super for bike/scooter riding and also quieter/cleaner than stone) 3.) Really cool general store/club house with ALL your camping needs and MORE too 4.) Nice outdoor covered pavilion 5.) Super clean restrooms and showers along with a very nice laundry room. 6.) Good selection of camping sites to choose from Now for the worst part or things that could be improved…..: 1.) Out dated and very old kids playground. Needs completely renovated and enlarged. For the price $$$ you pay here, this should be at the top of their list to renovate, however, it has not changed in 6+ years. If you have children, bring bikes/scooters to play with. 2.) Sand volleyball is more like playing in a gravel pit…needs about 10 ton of fresh sand) 3.) gravel sites. would be nice to see paved & level sites (most sites are level) 4.) Some sites have little grass or poor grass and uneven paver stones 5.) Basketball court looks like it is 20 years old. Rims and backboards are crappy and need completely replaced. Need paint on court. 6.) There is shuffleboard….What's that? 7.) Tennis courts need paint and nets, along with resurfacing. If you camp here, you are close to Polaris Parkway, a mecca for shopping, movies and dining out. About 10 minutes away easy driving. And adjacent to Alum creek state park. It is a great campground with a wonderful staff and group of permanent campers that stay year around and help maintain the campground too. The playground is in desperate need of replacement/enlargement but in general expect a great camping experience. Ask when you make your reservation if they have improved playground. Enjoy!

Just spent 4 days here and will be coming back again. Sites handle the largest rigs on the road today. Staff was very friendly and very attentive. Campground is close enough to Columbus to take advantage of every thing but far enough away to be rural also right across from a state park.

This is a Wonderful park to stay at. A Very clean park (the cleaning crew do a Great job!). The flowers are Beautiful and you can tell that the flower people take pride in their work - they do a Great job also. The Staff is very friendly and we have really enjoyed staying at this park. It's great after traveling all day - we checked in at the office and the staff took us around the park showing us what sites that were available. We got to pick out our site and THEN we didn't have to worry about having to find our site in the campground because the staff then escorted us back to the site that we picked out - it was Great! It's a fun park to stay at - many activities for the kids to do. Highly recommended!
