We enjoyed Cross Creek Camping Resort very nice place great staff all very friendly well kept park very clean park. The flower beds were just beautiful. The staff was always doing some type maintenance around the park. The rates to camp here were reasonable. Also found the little camp store had the most unique things. On Saturday evening we enjoyed a meal prepared by the staff which was delicious for what they called Mardi GRAS weekend. We will be camping there agin sometime.

Capitol Visit

Visited Ohio State Capitol, learn a bit about Ohio and its beauty plus some Ohio politics. The Capitol provides tours and we had a great one. Learned about the different sites before they settled on Columbus. Colubus didn't exist before the making of the "central" capitol. Chillicothe & Zanesville were first. Then politics really kicked in and Columbus was born. Lincoln visited three times before his demise. You can stand where he stood before becoming President and stand where his casket was placed on his way back to Apringfield, Illinois.
