Great Campground

We stayed at Cross Creek Camping Resort near Columbus, Ohio. We came to Columbus to see the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and the play Wicked. The park was only 30 minutes from both locations.
We were impressed by the cleanliness and beautiful landscaping as we drove into the campground. When checking in, a member of the staff took us in a cart to look at the available sites. After picking out the site we liked, they guided us as we drove and parked our trailer.
The staff at the camping resort was friendly and courteous. When we had a problem opening the sewer connection help was there immediately. The park had many recreation activities available at no cost.
We usually stay at state parks in West Virginia and Maryland that are more wooded and are more nature oriented. It makes it difficult to compare Cross Creek to them, but Cross Creek is by far the best commercial campground at which we have ever stayed.

Always Phenomenal!

Cross Creek is such a relaxing, friendly, and fun atmosphere. My pekingese and I like to escape the hustle and bustle of the city by going primitive tent camping.
The staff and residents are always very welcoming and kind. Two of my favorites are Darryl and Beverly.
I certainly would recommend CC to anyone!

Camping at "The Creek"
0 % of users found this review helpful
Cross Creek Camping Resort is the BEST camping resort we have ever been to. We have been camping there since 2003 and were immediately impressed with the super clean facilities and grounds. Then there are the activities. We couldn't keep up with all the activities at first. The activities director is fantastic and doesn't get enough credit for all she does. The entire staff is friendly and always willing to help if there is a problem. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, even with the lack of rain this year, they kept everything looking absolutely beautiful. Fall Fest is my favorite weekend from the costume contest to the "Haunted Hay Ride." Cross Creek is a great place to stay and we always recommend it to everyone we know.

Great Park

This park is beautiful. The staff is helpful and friendly. My only concern is with the size of sites - it often gets a little crowded during special events.
