My husband and I would just like to say that we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at this campgroud. We could not have asked for better hosts. The grounds were very clean, organized and the fishing was wonderful. The hosts were more than helpful in many ways, made us feel very welcome. Sites were acceptable. We will definitely return next year. We attended the corvettes at Carlisle weekend. See you next year and thanks for a great time, only wished I could have stayed longer.

Charlie and Lucille planned a fund raising band weekend for an individual who is suffering from cancer. It was the last weekend for camping and it was also the weekend we got snow. They put up tents, got heaters and did not let the weather dampen the spirit of the event. They had a wonderful bonfire on Friday night and the bands played on Saturday. There was a great turnout and everyone enjoyed themselves. Charlie and Lucille are caring and giving people!

The campground was very clean and well maintained. The restrooms where always clean.Even the seasonal sits where well maintained.They always seem to have activities going on all day long.Seems like a freindly campground,everyone stops to take time to talk to you.

29 Oct 2011 was an experience to climax a good year,Dogwoood acres and a cadre of seasionals hosted an all day benefit for a local musision who has played at the campground a few times.Food and drink were provided for a donation and 4 or 5 local bands played the whole time. the campground and volunteers raised approx. $8000. that was given to the Ill person (leukimia). This is typical of the owners and volunteers. I have met quite a few people at the campground from various places and carry on email conversations with several.There have been quite a few improvements to the campground in recent years under the new owners.
