We stayed here for the first time during bike week 2011. This was the first summer we had our camper. We have been going to many local campgrounds last year...We LOVED Gettysburg Campgrounds, and are already planning on bike week, and Halloween Weekend 2012. Staff was friendly, the security during the event was good, even on a crowded weekend, the noise levels were not loud...Can't wait for camping season!

It was good camping there,People were nice and frendily. When we needed propane they very quick. we really like being along the river.

We arrived on a dark, rainy night, us and another couple with us. We had a small trailer and a van. The owner came out to help us set up, even in the pouring rain. The only thing I could suggest is more lighting. We had a hard time finding a spot in the dark. Next morning we were delighted with our site. The campground is a great place for setting out from, for siteseeing, etc. We left there after a few days and went on to Virginia. Then on our way back we stopped at the campground again for a couple days. We are planning to go back again this year, God willing. Great people!

This is our 4th year camping at Gettysburg and we average at 7 weekends a year there and would spend more, if our time allowed. This place is very well kept and the personnel & owner are great to work with and they go out of their way to make your camping experience memorable. We are looking forward to his 2012 camping year....
