Relax and Soak it all In
0 % of users found this review helpful
Keen Lake is absolutely beautiful! The campsite is very well kept. The views are breath taking, especially during the fall when the leaves across the lake are changing colors. Relax in a lounge chair and soak it all in or go for a boat ride. The best event is the October barn fire complete with DJ, dancing, games for the kids, hot dogs, cookies and hot chocolate. A great family place! Can't wait to be back!

Grandchildren's delight

this past june ihad myself and my daughter and 5 grandchildren enjoy a stay at keen lake camping &cottage resort in Waymart PA. The Keen sisters were very accomodating to my family. It was the first time camping for my only grandaughter, 4 1/2 yrs. old, and my daughter.
my grandaughter was so excited to be "camping in the woods"even though we were using a pop up.It was my forth stay in as many years and loved our lakeside campsite on each visit. My grandaughter enjoyed our canoeing and kayaking on the lake, helped with the cooking and cleanup, without as much as a complaint. The experiance my grandchildren had is a memory they will forever remember. They can't wait for the next time. The campground was family friendly, clean, well stocked camp store, and very courtious and friendly and helpful staff.I,myself can't wait for my next trip to Keen Lake

Always a great time

We have camped at Keen Lake Campground for many years, enjoying the Columbus Day weekend with our friends and families. We are sure to book before we leave, to ensure we have the lakefront lots that we enjoy very much. We always speak about the great times we've shared in past years and the plans we make for the years to come.
Thank you for a great time!

Great Experience

This was our first time visit and we will definitly return! There where great activites for the children, the camprounds where clean, and the enviroment was awesome. I was very impressed by the bathrooms also. The activity staff encouraged participation. The grounds had 5 different playgrounds so the kids loved to bounce around from one to another! I would recommend this campground!

family fun

I've been camping for over 35 years and have never found a better camp ground than Keen Lake. Children of all ages are entertained for hours by all of the supervised scheduled activities and there is pleanty of beach and pool fun. The grounds and bathrooms are kept immaculate and the camp store has everything you need. An overall great family vacation in the beautiful Pocono Mountains.

family fun!

My family & I had a great time at Keen Lake. We went the weekend when they had hayrides, costume party, all different things to do with the kids for Halloween!!! It was great. Any questions I had, they answered for me when I called the desk. This was the second time in 2 months that we were at Keen Lake. It was just so much fun. The prices of the cottages vary but we had a cheaper one the first time, every time we were not disappointed. We are definitely going back next summer!!!

Restful Retreat

This was our first time RV Camping and we stayed all weekend. It was a glorious trip. You could be as involved or uninvolved as you wanted. They had cute activities for the little ones in order celebrate Halloween which we attended as well as several playgrounds. When we wanted to be alone we retreated to our beautiful location on the lake where we lounged around our immaculate camper stargazing. My husband found the fishing to be excellent and cannot wait to go back. We travel about six times a year and stay in resorts and such and this was the most relaxing as well as fun trip we have had in quite sometime. We would definitely recommend it!

Outstanding.........

Let me tell you about this campground. From the first phone call to set up reservations to our final hour at the Keen Lake campground I was amazed. I had called and spoke to Jennifer, one of the sisters that runs the establishment. I advised her that my family was not new to camping, but we had just bought our first RV and wanted to check out their campground. Explaining that we were a bit nervous about our first trip out with this 33ft'er, with out any hesitation she helped me reserve a site that would be big enough for our trailer and one that my husband would easily be able to back into. When we arrived it had already gotten dark. The gentleman that worked there, Mike, was a blessing. First, he had us follow him up to our site. Then, he took the time to teach my husband how to back in our trailer. And after all that kindness, he stayed and helped us level, set up, and hook up all of our electric, sewer, cable and water. He then shared tips to help us out for our future camping experiences. While we were there it rained and when it wasn't raining the weather was cold, but they still forged ahead with their scheduled activities. My kids enjoyed themselves. Best of all, I got to see my husband's face light up while he watched our children create long lasting memories. Thank you to the Keen sisters for making our first trip memorable. See you next season!!!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place. Always greeted warmly, run by the BEST folks around. The place is neat, clean, well maintained with plenty to do. Good location, not far to a store or scenery. The grounds provide plenty of God's beautiful creation.

Love this place

Keen Lake is the only place I will (EVER) camp. Its clean, the people who run it are lovely and you can't beat the activities for kids! My 2.5 year old is busy from the minute she wakes up until I have to finally carry her away from the dance - way past her bedtime - with her yelling "No, I gotta dance Mommy!" My family has been camping here for over 30 years, and its been nothing but a joy!
