Bring the Family Camping even if you think camping is not for your
0 % of users found this review helpful
It started 5 years ago. Looking for a family vacation to get away from it all. Dad is active, loves the outdoors, biking, hiking, walking, fishing, sightseeing. Mom not so much (books, campfire but needs the shower a/c etc.) Kids @ 10 when first arrived. It was a little pricey at first, but added up the costs to do a hotel, plus a nightly show, pools, movies (2 theaters) etc.. and value (price)is similiar. Kid are now teens and beg each year to go back. The nightly shows are great. The wi-fi could use some improving, but it is camping, and work should wait, but understand the need for us Type A's. Litterly a 10 min ride to Lake George, 2 min to shopping (although the traffic at light needs to be improved) 20 min ride to an awesome Rodeo (Painted Pony) w/great food. Plenty of biking trails, hiking trails etc... the family bingo nights are a family tradition, and meeting other campers is easy. Lots of kids and families. You can relax all day or get up eary and go,go,go. Your choice. Take a chance as we did 5 plus years, and you'll look forward to it each year. With indoor and outdoor pools, weather is not an issue, and take a look at a map. It's sounds cliche, but there is really something for everyone (yes even the family pet) but don't let them affect other campers vacations (barking ones). Each year we ask our two daughters if they'd like to bring a friend for the week, and each year they say NO. It's our family week. Home cooked dinner either on the barbecue or the stove (sometimes right over the fire too -fire roasted potatoes with onion, butter garlic salt, garlic poweder, wrapped in tin foil place inside fire ring). An evening show at the included play house or movie, ice cream cone/sundae from snack bar walk back to camper (help burn off ice cream) a game of domino's by the fire (or smores),evening night cap/glass wine or 2. To bed and repeat again 6 more times. Dr's orders. ........FAMILY TIME PRICELESS....... See You again Next Year!

Beautiful

Everything about the camp was wonderful; the service was great from the check-in to the check-out. Lots of facilities to utilize. Beautiful time of the year to visit. My only "complaint" was that some of the campers were visiting with their muscle cars (a car weekend event in Lake George) and they were revving them up early in the morning...although they were cool to look at! All in all a very nice place to bring your Rig!

FIRST RV CAMPING EXPERIENCE
0 % of users found this review helpful
It was our first RV camping experience. The place was very clean and the employees were very friendly and helpful. We came after Labor day so things were quiet. We will more than likely come back next year on a weekend during peak season just to experience what it is like when this place is really hopping. I would recommend this site.

great rv park with one hitch
0 % of users found this review helpful
we love this park and use to come every memorial day for years and years. the drawback is you pay a good price to stay here but you can't count on getting the site you want. we came up in sept and all 3 of are requests were not accepted. you should be able to at least know up front that the sites are not available so you can think of alternative sites. i would be willing to pay extra just to get the site i chose because that site is important to me but you drive up hoping to get it and they place you somehere else. so if you don't mind being put in a site that you are not expecting to take. then try this rv park because it truly is nice here to camp.

Thank you for taking the time to fill out our survey. There are many factors that go into assigning sites, but we do our best to honor requests whenever possible. We urge all of our guests to put in as many requests as possible so that we can better accommodate you. Your feedback is greatly appreciated, we hope to see you again soon. -Cory
