Description

Some of the most famous attractions in the world are right outside your door when staying at Las Vegas RV Resort in beautiful Las Vegas, Nevada, with easy access to I-15. Known as the 'entertainment capital of the world', the fabulous Las Vegas Strip is only minutes away, yet you'll be in a peaceful, secluded environment with a mountain view at the campground, which offers a convenient online reservation system. The first class adults-only facility offers all the comforts of resort living, with a lovely clubhouse, heated pool, and spa.

For outdoor fun, Las Vegas style, a visit to Lake Mead, the largest man-made lake in the western hemisphere, is essential. The beautiful Colorado River provides exciting rafting tours as well as hot springs and great fishing for rainbow trout. Hiking is fantastic at these natural sites, with the amazing flora and fauna of southern Nevada yours to explore.

A trip to see the Hoover Dam, the 726 feet structure that controls the Colorado River is a must given its close proximity to the RV Park. A visitor's center provides insight into the construction of the massive dam, an amazing feat of engineering, and of course, no trip to Las Vegas would be complete without paying a visit to the incredible themed casinos that line the strip. There's no gamble about it, whether you're in Vegas to woo Lady Luck or to enjoy the fantastic natural attractions of the area, there is something for everyone when you stay at Las Vegas RV Resort, a fabulous desert retreat.

overcharged

We stayed two nights while attending a trade show. We telephoned to make a reservation and no problem. Everything was fine and acceptable until we visited the office to check out. We were charged for 3 days when we stayed 2. I don't think this is a good policy for any business to have. We were not forewarned about the "no refund" policy. We wrapped up our business a little early and wanted to leave. I'm certain to never return to a place which swindles their customers. Thank you very much! I have been wanting to complain but the review email which you guys sent was inoperative.

Dog run

Facilities are great. The dog runs are stupid. It was hot and the runs have pea gravel. Not a good combination. Also lack of any shade around the park. 1st time travelers with a trailer. Used due to price.

Yes, it was 112 degrees in Las Vegas, but our air conditioner wouldn't cool hardly at all. It was cooler outside almost. We think their electric grid was affected (they said no way) and therefore, we packed up and left this site after 30 min. We didn't get our money back either. Ended up driving to Hawthorn Nevada to a cooler 96 and had no problems with our air cooling and hadn't before Las Vegas. Also, if you have pets, they have a very small square piece of area for the dogs without anything for a male dog to go comfy like a tree, stump, etc there and they aren't allowed to piddle on their own site and also have nothing to walk on but jet black top..???? Nah, think this is a place to stear away from. We wouldn't recommend this place ever, at least not if you have a pet and want to stay cool. We can't speak to the other things about the park since we weren't there more than to hook up and unhook after boiling to death.
