Description

Some of the most famous attractions in the world are right outside your door when staying at Las Vegas RV Resort in beautiful Las Vegas, Nevada, with easy access to I-15. Known as the 'entertainment capital of the world', the fabulous Las Vegas Strip is only minutes away, yet you'll be in a peaceful, secluded environment with a mountain view at the campground, which offers a convenient online reservation system. The first class adults-only facility offers all the comforts of resort living, with a lovely clubhouse, heated pool, and spa.

For outdoor fun, Las Vegas style, a visit to Lake Mead, the largest man-made lake in the western hemisphere, is essential. The beautiful Colorado River provides exciting rafting tours as well as hot springs and great fishing for rainbow trout. Hiking is fantastic at these natural sites, with the amazing flora and fauna of southern Nevada yours to explore.

A trip to see the Hoover Dam, the 726 feet structure that controls the Colorado River is a must given its close proximity to the RV Park. A visitor's center provides insight into the construction of the massive dam, an amazing feat of engineering, and of course, no trip to Las Vegas would be complete without paying a visit to the incredible themed casinos that line the strip. There's no gamble about it, whether you're in Vegas to woo Lady Luck or to enjoy the fantastic natural attractions of the area, there is something for everyone when you stay at Las Vegas RV Resort, a fabulous desert retreat.

Excellent campground

An excellent campground, especially for people just starting out from Las Vegas or returning their rental Rv there, as it is near to all three big rental firms - Cruise America, El Monte and Apollo. What we appreciated especially was that they were prepared to take stuff which we couldn't use any more (bed covers, bed linen, towels etc) and pass it on to a local church, where I'm sure it will be able to be used again and won't just be thrown away as trash. The campground itself was exceptionally well run, with an extremely high standard of cleanliness - the restrooms were bigger and better than in many hotels! If we come to Las Vegas again, we will certainly book in here.

Good park with some exceptions

This is a good park and fairly convenient to the Las Vegas Strip. The staff is friendly and the sites are a good size. Although there are several WiFi hot spots the connections are very slow most of the time, except very early and very late in the day. Data speeds were rarely above 12 Mbps and often so slow, around 2 to 5 Mbps, that sites would time out before loading, resulting in a Page Not Available error. Our Verizon JetPack was consistent at 54 Mbps and we had to use that most of the time resulting in data overage charges from Verizon. The other negative was that we were not told, prior to selecting a site, that all but one of the bath houses was closed for the summer. This made it very inconvenient as walking across the park in 100 degree plus heat was not practical. We did not use any of the facilities, pool, exercise room or library so have no opinion to express on those areas. We would return here but only after ensuring that the bath houses are not closed for the duration of our visit and the WiFi service. although free, is of better quality.
