Description

Some of the most famous attractions in the world are right outside your door when staying at Las Vegas RV Resort in beautiful Las Vegas, Nevada, with easy access to I-15. Known as the 'entertainment capital of the world', the fabulous Las Vegas Strip is only minutes away, yet you'll be in a peaceful, secluded environment with a mountain view at the campground, which offers a convenient online reservation system. The first class adults-only facility offers all the comforts of resort living, with a lovely clubhouse, heated pool, and spa.

For outdoor fun, Las Vegas style, a visit to Lake Mead, the largest man-made lake in the western hemisphere, is essential. The beautiful Colorado River provides exciting rafting tours as well as hot springs and great fishing for rainbow trout. Hiking is fantastic at these natural sites, with the amazing flora and fauna of southern Nevada yours to explore.

A trip to see the Hoover Dam, the 726 feet structure that controls the Colorado River is a must given its close proximity to the RV Park. A visitor's center provides insight into the construction of the massive dam, an amazing feat of engineering, and of course, no trip to Las Vegas would be complete without paying a visit to the incredible themed casinos that line the strip. There's no gamble about it, whether you're in Vegas to woo Lady Luck or to enjoy the fantastic natural attractions of the area, there is something for everyone when you stay at Las Vegas RV Resort, a fabulous desert retreat.

Our overall stay at Las Vegas RV resort was pretty good until we got a "friendly" letter taped to our door saying we violated their rule of letting our dog go potty next to our camper instead of one of the two designated areas. First of all, when we got there, the office was closed and the gate keepe handed us our map but did not tell us about specific areas to take our dog. I registered the next morning in the office and they didn't tell me about the rule either. Now we have ALWAYS cleaned up after our little dog and yell at anyone we see who doesnt. Our record at numerous campgrounds is spotless in this area. We full time so we have been to many places. I did find the two areas on my own before the letter. Both had scoopers and trash cans and BOTH had dog poo that was not cleaned up. When I returned to our RV, my shoes smelled like a kennel!I took the letter to the office and explained that we always clean up after our dog. His poo is the size of a small tootsie roll. It was 104 degrees and as soon as we got him out of the rv to put him on the gravel "yard" we were camped on, he would pee. I'm sure it evaporated within seconds. The short haired lady on Saturday, July 18th argued with me and didnt even let me tell her that nobody bothered to tell us about this rule. I told her how little he was and I did not want him getting his feet burned on the pavement. She just kept raising her voice about the rules. Another "rule" was to not have junk under your rv. We saw several what looked to be long term renters with all kinds of crap under and around the trailers. When I brought that to her attention, she really got ticked. I told her to have her "watchdogs" tell on otherj renters who didnt pick up after their dogs and others who let them whine and bark inside their rvs.Everyone but her was very friendly. I should have got her name.

Vegas camping at its best

The Las Vegas RV Resort was a delightful place to stay. Although it isn't on the Strip, it is convenient to the freeway that allows you to bypass a lot of the traffic. It also is close to three larger casinos that offer good food, nice gaming, and movies and bowling. We have stayed at other campgrounds in the area and this is by far the best one. Everything was very clean and we appreciated the security upon entering. Another plus is that the electricity is true 50amp. We ran 2 air conditioners and a hair dryer without losing any power or throwing breakers. We will definitely use this park again.

We spent a week here while in Vegas. The security at the front gate was great and the facilities were always clean. The have a dog area with 2 separate areas for your pets with pooper scoopers for you to use. The facilities were always clean and security and grounds were always patrolling. Great place to stay if you do not have kids with you.

Nice for the price

Spaces were decent. ..price by the month was a good value. ...nice wide paved roads good for bike riding. .. Dog policy are rediculas to say the least. Most parks we have stayed in want you to use dog runs, but if your pet pees outside your door they don't go ape...Dog pee does not need disinfectant or park will smell like urine...where did they come up with that..policy needs to be changed. .we are staying at a Marriott as I write this..and they don't worry if your dog stops to pee on the way to the dog park. . Would stay here again for short time. .never for a month with a pet unless we are next door to dog park. .but maybe not even then...
