This RV Park is wonderful value. Scott, the Manager, is outstanding and will do anything to make your stay pleasant. The swimming pool is kept at a wonderful temperature and all the amenities are clean and secure. Make your stay even more enjoyable by keeping away from the highway noise. Great value.

We have now been at Leaf Verde for a month & a half and I can honestly say that it has been a wonderful experience. The staff here are very friendly, welcoming & helpful. The activities direcotr is excellent. She is knowledgeable about the area & if she doesn't know the answer to your question she will find out for you. She organizes & participates in many activities in the park, from exercises, crafting, playing cards & games, water volleyball, water aerobics, tours & trips to casinos, clubs & surrounding interesting areas. The facilities include a pool, where the water temperature is a constant 91 degrees, a large laudromat with clean, efficient machines at a reasonable cost, a lounge with a pool table, the "barn" (recreational facility) large enough to hold potluck dinners, dances, entertainment, exercise groups, crafting groups and more. There are shuffle courts, a basketball court, tennis court and open area for barbecuing & sitting around the fire. The washrooms are spotless. The whole park is very neat & tidy and well maintained. The only problem I am having is the internet but it is being worked on at this time so hopefully service will improve. Our one wish for this park would be a hottub.

If you want to experience living in the country with city amenities nearby, Leaf Verde is perfect! Plenty of open area all around, with a shopping center a mile away. The staff are all wonderful and if you want to meet someone who can remember names of everyone she meets, Susan is totally Awe inspiring! We were personally escorted to our space and parked successfully with help from the guys. I was very glad for this because they have lots more experience helping than I do! Our power cord wasn't quite long enough, so they even brought an extension. They really bend over backward to accommodate. We visited from Nov 14, 2011 to Jan 14, 2012 and would have stayed longer if family hadn't called to come to Nevada. The park has exercise classes, water volleyball in their heated pool, pizza or ice cream nights w/a movie and trips to local venues around the valley. We had such a good time at the Organ Stop Pizza. The pipe organ is the largest privately owned organ in the world and we were entertained while we ate. A side trip to a huge swap meet was fascinating, if tiring. That was a lot of walking! We enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner potluck with 70 or so new friends, as well as Christmas dinner potluck. It was so fun to taste such a variety of family recipes and sit with strangers who quickly became like family. If we wanted to just sit outside and enjoy the sunshine, that was ok, too. My husband and I went to the White Tank Mountains regiional park one day to hike the Waterfall trail and take pictures of the many petroglyphs. Fascinating! We enjoyed watching the guys ride around in their carts, easily stopping to chat as they observed and catered to everyone...even the pooches. I saw some lucky pups being slipped a little treat from the guys, too! The grounds were immaculate. The staff works hard keeping it nice. We've already been telling our friends and family members that we want to come back to Buckeye next winter, hopefully for the entire winter this time!

1st time we reserved for 1 mo & stayed 2. This is our 4th winter. Safe, quiet, friendly & clean. Best laundry facilities from west coast to the Mississippi River. Loved the heated pool. Dog friendly. Close to groceries, shopping, movies, entertainment, hiking & exploring. If you don't stay here, you are really missing out!

A Pleasant Surprise
100 % of users found this review helpful
Very nice park with ammenities that are most needed. They give you what you need at a good price and spare the window dressing. Sites are a great size (we had a back in on the perimeter). Very pleasant staff and activities aplenty. Great location and close to everything you need. We have stayed at many parks over the winters and some are more flashy but, they come with a price. If the operator here continues to offer a good product at a good price, they will see their park continue to have new and repeat guests as the other parks out there lose their customers due to overcharging and underdelivering. Keep up the good work Leaf Verde!
