Nice, Clean but Pricey

Stayed four nights at Misty River while visiting family in the area. The park is clean and well maintained as they mention in their ads. The park has about 1/3 of it's sites in use by workers in the area so mornings are somewhat loud. However I have two issues that will make a return visit something that would need to be reviewed again.
First was off of season pricing; there is none. We paid full price for the use of only a portion of the facilities. Example is no water at night because of freezing temps.
Second issue is that most of the full thru sites are too short to handle a large fifth wheel and it's tow vehicle. We needed to park our truck in another site because it would be blocking the road.
For $42 a night we really didn't see any value and will travel closer to the park enterance for our next week in the smokey's.

The stay here was great the people are so freindly make you feel like home. this is the only place I will stay when I come to Townsend, Tn.

The best campground in the Smokey mts with excellent facilities and spotless washrooms. Once visited, you will become a repeat customer. Need I say more.
