This was our first trip to MVC with our (new to us) TT. The staff was super helpful in checking in, finding me a site with an easy back-in (since it was my first time and I was by myself for set-up,) the campground was clean, fellow campers were friendly and considerate. It was a nice relaxing early-season weekend and we'll be back for another soon.

Peacefull, enjoyable, beautiful area. Crafts for all ages. Wonderful owners. Great to visit often.

Camping at Mountain Vista Campground in East Stroudsburg, PA is always an enjoyable time. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. There is plenty to do there, wheather it is going swimming in the pool in the summer time, sitting by a fire at night, playing bingo, going down to listen to the dj or bands, having arts and crafts time for children or just simply enjoying the scereny around you. Also, there are other things to do in the surronding area by the camp ground, such as the flea market up the street, the Christmas tree shop, country kettle for candy and plenty of other things to do as well. I also like how each weekend is always something different with a theme and the weekend activites are geared towards that theme. A a good example would be Christmas in July. This is where the campers can chose to decorate their sites with lights, decorations or anything else that is related to Christmas. Overall, this campground is very enjoyable and very peaceful. I would highly recommend Mountain Vista Campground to anyone.

My husband and I have been staying at Mountain Vista campground for the past four years for our anniversary. We enjoy camping and the campground is always so accommodating, close to a lot of great stuff and very peaceful. We love to roam the candle shops and Bushkill Falls during the day and sit and relax around our campfire at night. They are so friendly, we look forward to returning for our anniversary each year.

For over a year now my husband and i would go camping with my parents at Mtn. Vista, now we are new owners of a camper and it's the #1 place we want to go camping. Mtn. Vista is very clean, super friendly, pet friendly and very peaceful! We would recommend camping at Mtn. Vista any time!

This camp ground was ok but had some issues. There is only one bath house and bathroom and that is at the top of the hill. Too far for anyone who is at the bottom of the hill. The store needs major update to make bigger and carry more. As it is there is hardly anything in it. Frozen section is non-existant.

Great campground!! Very nice for summer camping,the whole place is in the shade of trees.Great fall camping also.

My name is Michele George and this was our 2nd time here. The first time we had an awesome time with our kids. This time I wAs very disappointed because your website states no dogs in the cabins..understandable, my son came with us and we had his dog and he was not allowed in the park. Allergies was the reason for the dogs not being allowed in the cabins. There is a huge porch the dog could have stayed on. He had to drive all the way back home and that ruined my entire time there! On your website it states no dogs in cabins...no where did it say none on the porch. Or none on the property. Your site states DOG FRIENDLY..Well not in the cabins!! I seen about 20 dogs that day walking around...really mad me mad. NOw I dont see Cats on that website of yours...so you saying CATS ARE OK? You are in the woods....the WOODS...if you have allergies, you shouldnt be camping period! I bragged how nice this place was but now my experience after my son had to leave I wont be coming to this camp area again nor will I tell ppl to go there. When the woman there told us no dogs I said "well it says no dogs in the cabin, we can leave on the porch or even in the car...they just got a phone book out and started giving me places in the area (other camp sites) that allowed dogs in the cabins....HELLO.... I said I paid for this place! As a customer I would say for you to redue your website and make it CLEAR YOU are not dog friendly in your cabins! In big black letters and also any animal not just dogs...I can see someone bringing a cat and you telling them NO CATS ALLOWED..that is not on your website. BE VERY SPECIFIC WHEN SAYING YOU ARE DOG FRIENDLY IN YOUR PARK! Make sure you tell ppl who have the cabins they are not DOG FRIENDLY. I told ppl what had happened and they wanted to know where this place was...I told them!!!

We have been coming to Mt Visa for several years and keep coming back. The campground is great and the staff/owners are very friendly and helpful. The children enjoy the pool and the pond for fishing. The children enjoy the activities.
