We loved the location and evn road name for this campground, and drove a pleasurable two hour drive just to stay here. It began with teenage boys riding their bikes around our campsite after dark, whom we saw again in the morning, even though we had politely just let them know that was our campsite. Nothing wrong with riding, it was about space awareness. If you go, maybe try a primitive cabin.... Anything to block out the noise of the party cabin across the river from the final campsite in the row. Loud music till the sun came up, with yelling and shrieking and various noise, so much that even the beautiful creek sound couldnt cover it up. Then the older teenage biy that rode up and stared at us and our stuff when we were just waking from a little sleep about 7 to 9 am ( thanks to the noise). Then the same boys from the night before came by again. Ipoverall, its beautiful and the idea great. The realuty, too many people! Who werent very considerate of others! Maybe it would be better not on a weekend? Or just go somewhere else.

Great campground! Excellent service from owner, Dee and her staff. We loved our tent site right along the river and the facilities were so clean and inviting. Our side trip to hike in the Joyce Kelmer Memorial Forest was just the thing we needed to renourish our souls! Thanks Dee for recommending it and thank you for your excellent hospitality! We would encourage others to plan a stay at your gem of a campground.
