Another great experience

I'm 50 years old and I have been coming here since I was a kid. A lot of great memories. Always a great time. Over the years I have seen a lot of changes. Always improving the campground. Helpful and friendly staff. Several times we have had issues with our rvs. They always help get us back up and going by getting us in touch with the people to fix the situation or fixing it themselves. Can't say enough good things about this great family campground. Best on the strand!!!

Weekend Getaway

For the size of the campground and the amount of people staying over the Labor day weekend, I must say the staff kept the facility's very clean and none of the amenities were over crowded. We stayed on the ocean front portion of the camp ground and the sites were spacious and pretty level. Very easy access to Tanger Outlets, Dining and Wal-Mart for groceries and such. Only draw backs are that the WI-FI signal is really weak or non existent and this is a smaller issue because like stated above Wal-Mart is easy access but there are no beer or wine sales on Sunday, so even you don't want to drive out it makes is a little bit inconvenient. Bring your own grill and fire pit as these are not included on the sites. Not much golf cart traffic, everyone was very respectful, Security Guard at the main entry, Check in was easy and they even provide trash bags for your convenience, check out was also a breeze, the security guard takes your parking pass and your off. We will definitely be returning without a doubt.

Disappointed

Dont expect to get what you request. What I thought was going to be an enjoyable 3 week vacation at the beach (close to the beach)- is not happening! When I booked my reservation I was told the sites I requested were available and I was also promised to be within 10 spots of the ocean. Didnt happen I am 17 spots from the ocean! Been camping here for five years looks like its time for my family and friends to find another campground.I dont understand how the sites were available then all of a sudden they were reserved. While talking with other guests I was told the folks making reservations show favoritism to other campers. Guess that is why I got kicked to the end of the road. Really disappointed!

Very family friendly place to camp. Only camp here when we come to the beach. Only thing I don't like is that the ground maintenace crews are out working early in the morning (as early as 7ish). For people who are camping in tents or pop-up campers, it is very loud and wakes you up in the mornings.
