My husband & I decided we wanted to go to NOLA for our 19th wedding anniversary & camp as well. We found the best of both worlds at Pontchatrain Landing! Upon checking in you could immediately tell this was a great place to be. The reception was warm, welcoming, & helpful. They provided info on the area & campground as well as guiding us the site & lining us up. They also provided a shuttle to & from The French Quarter saving us that hassle! The pool area was lovely. They have live music on the weekends & a nice pavillon, with bar in the pool area as well. Very well thought out. We will surely will return to this fabulous resort!

great and clean resort but could use a little better scenery{old delapidated bldgs. will come back again when in new orleans-----love the water and yachts

We had a great time at Ponchartrain Landing RV Park. We enjoyed the on site bar with live entertainment. The pool area was nice as was the hot tub. We used the shuttle service every day and appreciated the friendly, punctual drivers. All in all a nice visit and we would return.

A beautiful setting with extremely courteous staff. Shuttle service drivers were courteous and helpful and this is a very valuable asset! Wonderful amenities. I have definitely recommended this campground to friends. Only wish there was a later shuttle to return from the French Quarter.

Pontchartrain Landing was clean, quiet and beautiful. It's a little bit out of the way but that made it more relaxing and there was a shuttle to take you to the French Quarter when you wanted to go into the city. The manager and all the staff were helpful and able to direct us to anything we needed/wanted while we were there. They were extremely accommodating with my partner's disability with a beautiful ramp up to the pool and bar and a wheelchair accessible shuttle van. As New Orleans has no wheelchair accessible taxis this was invaluable. We are very happy to recommend this place to anyone!

Ponchatrane Landing offered inexpensive round trip transportation to the French Quarter. This is so much easier than trying to find a parking place and driving in downtown N.O. The park also offered a terrific 42 min. video of Hurricane Katrina and its effect on the Bayou and other wetlands in LA. We didn't stay long enough but we plan on returning as soon as possible. The staff was so very helpful and friendly.

We have stayed 2xs and love the experience. Great shuttle service, and amenities. We have brought our own camper and rented one of campground's campers.

This campground is the best kept secret! We stumbled upon this campground on the internet. We had another trip planned to New Orleans in a month and cancelled the hotel rooms and made reservations to stay at the campground!

We've stayed here four times in the past three years. Love, love, love this place! Staff bends over backwards to make sure your stay is a memorable one. I would recommend this campground to anyone planning a trip to New Orleans. From the shuttle service to and from the French Quarter, to the large pool and hot tub, to the clean facilities, beautifully landscaped sites, marina, on-site bar . . . where else would anyone go? Highly recommend Pontchartrain Landing to anyone who plans to visit New Orleans.
