The staff/owners of this campground are by far the nicest I have encountered. The restrooms are cleanier than most restaurant restrooms. Showers are always hot. This is a newer campground and there are plans for an expansion. I look for forward to the second and third phases to be built. The location is great. Lots to do in this area. This was my fourth year in a row at this facility and I plan on keeping this a yearly stop. Once the pool is installed, this place will be hard to top. 5 stars all the way around.

We do enjoy Halloween weekends at South Haven Family Campground. They put on a nice busy weekend for the kids with lots of fun and games.

We were on the road, needed a campsite for the night and were having difficulty finding an open campground, due to the lateness in the season. I left a message shortly before the office was closing and promptly received a call back. The campground personnel were very accomodating and allowed us to arrive late, after 8 pm. Upon arrival, we were able to easily find our assigned campsite, which was level and a pull-thru. The cleanliness of the campground and restrooms was surpassed only by the cleanliness of the showers. I have camped in many different parks and campgrounds and have never had such a great experience. Although we did not have an opportunity to use them, I was very impressed with the laundry facilities, also. The only (slight) annoyance we experienced was the inability to connect to the campground's free Wi-fi. This was probably due to our late arrival and resulting lack of connection information. This campground will be a definite stop for us when our travels take us nearby.

I camped at South Haven Family Campground for a couple of nights in mid-October this year. The host and hostess were kind enough to wait for me to arrive after normal business hours. I found the facilities super clean and inviting. I did have some difficulty with their wifi and they had told me before hand. Thoroughly enjoyed my camping experience and would not hesitate to highly recommend this campground to my friends and family. Thanks Susan and Kyle! GREAT job!

I would highly give my recommendation to this creative family campground. Everything from parking, guest accomodations, showers/bathroom was well thought out.We only stayed one night on our way from Canada to California but it was the best. Thank you

Thank you to South Haven Family Campground for making our vacation fantastic! Our whole family had a great time; all of the activities kept the kids very busy and they enjoyed all of them. The adults had as much fun as the children. All the attention to details were awesome. The campground is excellently maintained and secure and all of the staff were friendly and attentive. The owners were genuine in their kindness and patience with everyone. When Kyle surprised our 7 year old for his birthday with the tractor "train" we knew he'd always remember our trip! The camping cottage was perfect for our family of six, but roomy enough to have slept 8 in the loft alone! We would recommend SHFCG to anyone going camping. This is THE campground for family fun!

We loved our weekend at South Haven Family Campground! The facilities were very clean. We have a larger coach & they very spacious sites and were able to accomodate us without a problem. Loved having some privacy between us and the neighbor. We went in October-so it was one of the Halloween themed weekends. Plenty of activities to keep all of our boys busy (from the 4 year old-to the teenagers). The staff was very helpful & very polite. Our boys are begging to go back in the spring. . . Cant Wait!

We had a wonderful cabining experience in southwestern MI. The staff made us feel very welcome and assisted us in finding great activities for our little group. There were also a daily list of on site activities for all ages! Return visit? In a heartbeat!!

Each year we try to spend our Anniversary enjoying the Fall colors. We heard about the South Haven Family Camp Ground and set out to stay the weekend. We took in apple picking at two near-by Apple Orchards. Great fun. We went horseback riding at Simparosa stables, very inexpensive and a great trail rides. The drive through the back country roads was breath taking with the color of trees changing. What made our weekend complete was the warm friendly welcoming way that all the staff at the campground treated us. Lots of luck and keep up the great job. We will return. Paul,

Our experience was excellent. The staff was very friendly and the accomodations were top of the line. We felt very comfortable having our three grandchildren there and being able to have them at the playground with minimal supervision. All in all we had an excellent stay.
