This was our second stay at The Vineyards and was just as wonderful as the first. The staff is absolutely outstanding from arrival to departure. The property is very well maintained and the facilities are top notch. I don't think there is a campsite in the park that doesn't have a view of the lake. Very close to Grapevine's Main Street and multiple wineries and restaurants. Plenty to do and see. Highly recommend this park. Looking forward to our next stay.

First Time Nice Place

We stayed here for 4 nights during the week. Very nice, clean campground. We had a Gold site for our 45' motor coach. Site was level and paved with a picnic table, fire ring, and wooden deck with bench. Since the wood is treated lumber, there is a green powder that is leached to the surface, so really did not use that. Park roads are paved and wide. No problem maneuvering our coach with toad attached. The 50amp power was good and at proper voltage with the park about 80% full. Good water pressure. Nice fishing area/dock. Playground looked nice and the beach looked sandy, but we did not use it. They have a nice pavilion for parties. Camp store is very small and basic with some food and other items. They do charge you if you bring your own golf cart or other mobility cart. I think it was $5/day. They also have cart rentals. Sites are very roomy. Everyone that we dealt with working there was pleasant and friendly. There is a marina with a great burger joint (Big Daddy's) across the lagoon. Had lunch there. The outlet mall is a few miles away. Only have a few negatives: 1. If you have pets, be aware that there are sand spurs in the grassy areas. 2. There are very few trash bins. So if you walk your dogs and pick up after them, you may have a very long walk to get rid of the poop, depending on which site you are in. 3. The park is just West of the DFW airport's flight path. While it is fun to watch the planes land, it can get quite noisy at times, mostly from the takeoffs not the landings. We will definitely come back again. We had a very peaceful stay and enjoyed it a lot.
