We visited the Vineyards for the first time for our visit to the Polar Express train and all the Christmas activities in town. The location for doing so could not have been better. Facility/grounds were very nice and secure with gate entrance. The lake and marina area was very nice and my son enjoyed the playground equipment. The shower/restroom facilities were very clean and heated for those cold days. We were in a 32' coach and had ease getting in and out of our site without any trouble(site 9). They had some nature trails but due to our packed schedule we were unable to try them out. However, next time we will certainly make use of them as well as some of the other activities at the park. The camp store was nice and reasonably stocked. The only negative comment I have which really is a small one is this: I needed a tool that I did not have for some reason(crescent wrench or some channel locks) there was a lady and gentlemen working at the store(may have been owners) that I asked(I asked the Lady, presumably the gentlemen wife) if they had either to purchase or borrow. She said they probably have one and then asked the gentlemen. Without looking at me he said no and kept about his business. I assume he probably had it and did not want to lend one out, which is fine(I am very particular about my own tools) so I understand if that was the case. Maybe a little friendlier response would have been better suited. Either way the experience was great and will definitely return.(with all tools I may need)

This is a great campground that we frequent during the winter for festivities in Grapevine like The Polar Express and ICE at the Gaylord. Great facility, kid friendly, and great staff make it a must. Thanks for the great memories I was able to make with my wife and kids!
