A little bit of R&R

My coworkers & I work at a high end hotel & after the NCAA madness at the hotel, we really wanted to get away from Dallas & relax. After Googling campsites in the area, I came across Vineyard Campgrounds. The cabin prices were reasonable & the staff was amazing. They have this little convenience store on the grounds that delivers fire wood to your campsite/cabin. Kurt helped me book my reservation & he truly was such a help & really sold me on Vineyard Campgrounds. My coworkers & I will definitely be back again soon. Thank you for a great experience!

Springtime Visit

We were able to spend 3 weeks at the Vineyards during April. The grounds and facilities were excellent. Sites are nicely spaced for privacy yet provide a good community. The playground and beach and lake front were excellent for the grandkids. Weekend activities provided by the hosts were lots of fun and added to the RV ing experience. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely Beautiful Park
0 % of users found this review helpful
We highly recommend this first-rate park. Beautiful scenery with lots of water and huge grassy areas. The campground hosts were courteous and professional. Check-in process was fast and efficient. The laundry room was clean and spacious. Our site was on the levee. No shade trees there, but it was during the cool season so it was not an issue. The sites are concrete/asphalt and very, very spacious. No highway nor train noises, but it is close to Dallas/Fort Worth airport. However, noise from jets were not really noticeable. There were planned activities for the campers, and free Krispy Kreme donuts. Did not use the showers nor patronize the store so cannot comment on them. Only thing missing is a dog park. Overall, we give this park very high marks.
