This park is very camper friendly and dedicated to serving their visitors. We have stayed here several times and will always book with the Vineyards when we are in the North Texas area! Good security and friendly staff.

Does not allow you to drive thru and choose your spot. Charged a premium for lakefront sites (There is no water in the lake right now). Bathrooms were not cleaned the entire weekend and were finally cleaned on monday and still looked terrible. Takes 20 minutes thru the no wake zone at the marina to idle to campground thenhuke to your camper as the water is so low. Kids swim beach is dangerously steep from lack of water in lake. Boat ramp is closed. Closest on is 10 minutes away. most employees were nice, one lady was the rudest ever. Takes her job too seriously. I had a lakefront site which became like a gathering ground for evrlery child in the park...parents dont watch their kids and I had no peace of mind. Golf cart rentals mean drunks roaming everywhere in golf carts not looking out for my child. Tgey allow the carts anywhere. Not just park roads...several zoomed by within feet of my camper. This is the closest park to my house...but I hated it. the only good thing was the view I had of the weekly fireworks show. choose another place.

Our stay at The Vineyards was great! The families really enjoyed the snow cone machine coming around and giving free snowcones. Fireworks on Friday, a band on Saturday and free Krispy Kreme doughnuts on Sunday. Lots of fun activities. We highly recommend this campground. It is for sure a five star campground.

The campground is spacious and offers much to do from kayaking to fishing to swimming to the expansive green areas suitable for yard games and much more. We only live an hour away and will make this our regular weekend getaway. Close enough that we didn't leave until early Monday morning and could still get to work by 8am. Fireworks on Friday night were beautiful over the marina. Lots of hiking and biking trails on adjacent properties. Close to Grapevine Mills mall which was nice for a quick retreat. Highly recommend.
