Great experience in Grapevine!

We were not sure what to expect, but me and my sister LOVED staying in the two person cabin here. The cabin was very clean and had everything we could possibly need for an enjoyable visit. We loved sitting out on the deck in the evening and especially enjoyed meeting all the RV campers and the staff. Everyone was very friendly and we felt very safe there. I have stayed at some very fancy hotels in Grapevine, which was a good experience, but next time I return, I will be staying here again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Great place to camp. Full hookups. Very clean. Lots of fun things to do. Close to Grapevine and Southlake. We like to call it urban camping. When your at the campground you don't feel like your in the city, but all the amenities of the city are only minutes away.

Great kayaking adventures

Our family recently stayed in our travel trailer here at The Vineyards Campground. We stayed for 3 nights in a very nice paved, level site with full hook ups. Overall we had a great first visit here. It was very easy to launch our kayaks and explore many tributaries to the lake that were sheltered from the wind, and with lots of wild life to see in the water and on the land. Some sites had lots of trees, but near the water there are no shade trees. So unless you have an awning, you might bring a canopy for warmer times of the year. The park was very clean and quiet even with almost every site taken on a gorgeous Spring weekend. Our kids loved the play ground and the multitude of ducks and geese to feed. Since we did not have to pay extra per person for our larger family, we felt like this was a great value for the cost. We will return for more kayaking adventures for sure. This time we'll bring the camera in the kayaks!
