I'm am new to rv'ing but on our trip west we enjoyed our favorite T V shows that all changed at the vineyards . Even with the antenna boost and turning we could not bring in NBC. We foundout that cable was not available in park. We had made decision not to do dish or direct TV several months ago and most other parks have cable access. It's not a deal breaker for short term stay .The park is great site was beautiful.made two trips into historic grapevine.

As always we had a great time at the Vineyards. There are fun things to do and the peace and quiet was treasured. Loved the Kona Ice - had never had one before. What a special treat. There was a raffle for Halloween items and we were lucky enough to win - not only one prize, but two. Helps to make the stay more fun. Everyone is so friendly and ready to help in any way necessary. Cleanliness is very important and they exceed expectations on that. My mom was visiting from Kansas and she really enjoy her stay as well. The close proximity to the Outlet Mall was great for something to do. We will definitely be back!

Campground Greed

Over Past TEN years plus Vineyards Campground FEES have increased from low $20 range to present tier fees of $45-$55-$65. Physical condition of the CG crested about 2010 and since has declined...that being, erosion of soil, flooding of site pads leaving dirt not swept from pads, absence of grass leaving dusty sites, and trees dying from eroded bare roots exposed. Many requests for additional drainage improvements have been received with deft ears by City of Grapevine management. Many improvements have been made over the years : all sites are 50amps with sewage and water , many blacktop sites have been replaced with level concrete.... RV Store and Cabins built, BUT are INCOME generating investments that should financially stand alone and not be subsidized by increased site fees OR not be provided. At the Present Site Fees, an additional $5 DOLLAR FEE for GUESTS visiting family and friends is a sign of Present Management"s GREED. Many out of town RVers frequent The Vineyards for the prime purpose of visiting Family and Friends. On the positive side, HOST/Hostess staff are friendly, accommodating and efficient. We have always been pleased with Campground Staff.

Great experience

We enjoyed a great weekend with several other families! Very nice grounds and we felt safe to let the kids (middle school age) roam around to the park and on some of the trails. Love that we can reserve our location ahead of time to ensure we were all together. Great location too! Only suggestion would be to check the bathrooms for soap & paper towels more often. We are planning to return!
