This is our second visit to The Vineyards Campground. It is a beautiful area with the lake, trees and lots of lawn. Sites are large and well spaced. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

We visited at a time when the TX rains came too much. We appreciated having a 2 day notice of the camp possible evacuation. We had my 82 year old mother with us and quick things just aren't easy for her. The Vineyards took care of our safety and gave a quick simple refund for the days we didn't stay even tho we left in advance of evacuation. The campground is beautiful, quiet, and very well maintained. It is very relaxing to sit on the deck and watch the ducks, the geese, and the cranes.

I love this place!

The Vineyards is a great place to stay. The location is convenient and close to shopping and town. The park is laid out for long strolls and is chock-full of all the amenities you would need. The lake is magnificent and the staff extremely friendly and professional. Noise levels are low and the automatic gate makes it extremely private and exclusive. Big rig and dog friendly, but PLEASE PICK UP AFTER YOUR DOG!!! There is always a few people that don't and it ruins the ambiance of this wonderful place. We really enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again in a heartbeat! Add this one to your favorite campsite list and use it often--you will not be disappointed.

Great park!

Although it rained most of Mother's Day weekend, we had a terrific stay in this friendly, well managed park. With accommodations for every type of camper, including cabins, there is plenty of choices. No wonder you need to reserve well in advance. Right on the lake, you can swim, rent a kayak or bicycle, or spend time shopping in boutiques or interesting small shops. What a terrific location.
