Nice Park

The Vineyards, situated between Dallas & Fort Worth, is very convenient to much of Dallas. It is heavily wooded with very large sites, grills, and fire rings. Lake Grapevine is large, has a beach, & lots of room for medium to small boats. This is really a nice campground for both families and those visiting Dallas. The showers are not lavish nor air conditioned, but they were very clean & perfectly adequate. We stay at The Vineyards whenever we are in Dallas.

Another notch!

We've put another notch on the score board for yet another GREAT stay at The Vineyards! And thanks to great staff like Bob, Rod, and Mr. Hall (and their spouses), we had another great time and treated like family! That crew has an attitude like it's their own park (as they should) and that they really care how happy you are and that your visit is very pleasurable. Keeping parks clean and in shape is not an easy job and you can tell that all of the regular visitors respect the job that they do because of how clean everyone leaves it! What an awesome facility, layout, location, and long list of amenities and events that this park has!

Grapefest Weekend
0 % of users found this review helpful
The Park was very easy to locate. We stayed in one of the newest cabins Saturday and Sunday nights, attending Grapefest on Saturday afternoon and evening. Although the Park is on Lake Grapevine, we had no difficulty locating the festivities in Downtown Grapevine, just a couple of miles away. Northwest Highway (Bus. 114) is a major East-West link to Grapevine. The entire park is very well maintained. There were very few, if any, empty RV spaces, and it appeared that all of the 14 cabins were occupied, as well. The cabins are stocked with cooking equipment and dishes, towels and bed linens. All you have to bring is your, clothing, food, and whatever personal care items you will need for a weekend stay. The large deck on our cabin was wonderful for having morning coffee and watching wildlife. Would I recommend The Vineyards Campground and Cabins to friends and family? Without a moment's hesitation. We had a very relaxing weekend.
