Flooding Issues - Sept to Nov

We were happy that the park reopened after the sever flooding in September, they had lots of repair and cleaning up to do. Our only negative comment - We were not told of any services were not operational at the time of our reservation - but we found out upon arriving - no internet/cable, no shower house - we were not offered a reduced rate either. Totally understand just trying to get back to normal and this was just overlooked, so we are hoping everyone else was given a reduced rate. We like the park, but while we were there is rained everyday bring the lake back up to a near flooded road in front of our RV, so we left one day early. This is of no fault of the park, no one can control the weather. We liked what little we got to see, but will make sure all amenities are functional before make our reservations in the future. Happy RV'ing!!

This was our first time back since the spring flood. It rained the entire time we were here (3 days) and the lake came up again, but it has always been a great place to stay. The staff was great and helpful as usual. We love this place and will be back again very soon. Hopefully the water will recede and things will get back to normal.

We found the park to be in great condition, after the May 2015 flood. We had to leave early due to ANOTHER flooding of the lake. But the staff and the park were wonderful

We were looking forward to visiting our daughters in Dallas and found Grapevine RV on the Internet. We arrived the first opening day after they reopened from the summer floods. The grounds were beautiful and our spot site 71 was perfect for our 43 ft 5th wheel. We were close by many attractions and loved visiting downtown Grapeviine and seeing the holiday decorations. We had planned to stay 23 days but due to heavy rains and severe flooding we were told to leave after only five days. The campground was closing again. The staff was very courteous and concerned about our wellbeing. After much searching we finally found another campsite about an hour away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely try to come back again sometime.
