Always Great

This is one of our favorite RV campsites. All of the sites are easily accessible and level. You couldn't find a nicer staff anywhere. The hook ups are up to date and convenient to the parking slabs. The only thing I would suggest they add is a bill changer in the laundromat. Remember to bring some quarters if you're going to stay long enough to need to do laundry.

Nice campground, great location and very clean! We were in spot 20 which was easy walk to camp store, movie and bathrooms. Free Kona Ice was amazing. The outdoor "Lego Movie" was fantastic and held in a very pretty, shaded spot. Krispy Kremes on Sunday morning were very much appreciated. The playground is outstanding! Next time I will pick spot 40, 41 or 42 since all level and shaded, and across the street from the playground. The water is low so not much swimming available, but all lakes are low right now and not the campground's fault. When there is enough water that area will be fantastic - there were at least 20 lounge chairs set up. The sand volleyball court made for great times playing in the sand. The walking trail was awesomely beautiful and we took our jogging stroller with NO problems at all. A really beautiful campground with lots to do. We didn't get to enjoy the water activities as we ran out of time. The only bummer - the man running the camp store was unfriendly on all visits and plain rude on one in particular! My son was curious and looked in the bathroom door and he yelled at him "that's not for public use!!!!" He wasn't going to use it. It caught his attention and he's a curious 7 year old boy who thought it was more of the camp store area he wanted to explore. A little more tact next time will be appreciated. He was standoffish on all of our visits (honestly at least 6 times and we purchased items each time), but that one takes the cake. The female in the camp store was a little more friendly.

My husband and I spent a week-end at The Vineyards in Grapevine Tx with our daughter's family. They had been previously and loved how kid friendly it is. Their 8 & 11 year old boys take their bikes and ride freely throughout the park and they like the playground equipment. Renting a golf cart, boating, and fishing are also high on their list of activities. The free Kona Ice and Krispy Kreme donuts on week-ends are highly anticipated also. We were thrilled with the overall security and how impeccable the grounds are kept. We have two small dogs and they are welcomed and have plenty of room to explore. My only complaint would be that there are no cabins that allow pets. It would be a nice option to be able to rent a cabin when taking the RV isn't. Other than that, I love everything about this place. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and strive to make sure your stay is as near perfect as possible. Shopping isn't usually one of the things you look for when choosing a campground but the fact that world class shopping is literally just down the road is every woman's dream! Our entire family had a great time and we will be back every chance we get.
