Wishon Village is an oasis in the Sierras. Great Rv sites with full hookups. Although it's quiet there, everyone is friendly and helpful. They have added activities for all age groups. Just wish there was more fish in Wishon reservoir.

Great place to stay

This park is a hidden gem. The RV spaces are spacious, hard-packed gravel and level. All have a fire pit and picnic table and most have room for a tent in addition to the RV. Our space was shaded all afternoon. The store is well stocked and the staff very helpful and friendly. Even on the weekend the park was very quiet. Wishon Reservoir is very close by but does require a drive or lengthy walk. Once at the lake we found it excellent for paddling and, during our August stay, not too cold for a quick dip. Fishing in the lake can be excellent but there wasn't much happening when we were there. Nearby Courtright Reservoir (about a half hour drive) is spectacular. Crystal clear water and tree lined shoreline. Thee are wonderful vistas from everywhere on the lake. If you are paddling Courtright, as with Wishon, afternoon breezes can add a challenge to paddling back to your put-in point. In conclusion we found the RV park a great value and well worth the reasonable fees they charge. Before leaving we reserved a week next summer with plans to return for shorter stays before then.

My wife and I stayed there for a few days, along with some family friends. Had a great time while there at the park. The Lake is the best part for us, because we come there to fish. Would stay there again and for sure tell others what a Great Place to camp at. Roadhouse.
