We stayed in the Rockwood rentral Trailer for 2 nights. Everything was great. The only thing that wasn't great was guest parking in these rental sites. If you have a decent sized boat there is zero room left over in the campsite. Luckily for us the staff was very accommodating and let me and my dad, who was staying in another rental trailer next to us park our trucks and boats in an empty stall across from the rental. The first night my dad parked his boat in his rental site and he struggled to get his boat into the site. They are pretty steep at the entrance. Talk to the people at the Wishon Viillage, they want you to have fun!!

Peaceful Escape

Upon arrival and checking in, we were greeted by the friendly staff with smiles and displaying epitome of customer service. Our campsite was clean and prepared. During our stay the resort was peaceful and we could hear the water flow through little trickles as it made it's way into larger tributaries . California had so much rain and snow this last season and everything was so green. We took a drive to Wishon Dam and beyond and saw so many places that water could cascade down to the river. The site was awesome and of course the lake was full. Because of the snow not melted yet, Courtright Lake was not open yet. However, our stay and touring outside of our camp was awesome. Coming back in September to smell the essence of pine once again.

Wonderful Wishon

This was our third consecutive year visiting the Wishon RV resort and each year we enjoy it more and more. How many places offer such beauty and full hook-ups?! We loved our semi-secluded camp site - #1, with more privacy than many sites. The location is perfect, just a short drive to the Reservoir, which was full this year and we even got to see the spillway open! Due to the late and heavy snowfall this past season we were unable to drive up to Courtright Reservoir or take the road down to North Fork Kings River but enjoyed a day trip to Shaver Lake and Huntington Lake and some local hikes including the river trail out of the resort. Lastly, the people at Wishon RV Resort couldn't be more e friendly and helpful! We've already made our reservation for 2018! We camped in a 22' travel trailer.
