My family and I visited Wishon for our first time in June 2015. We had an amazing time exploring, fishing, camping, playing board games and being away from our everyday busy lifestyle. We will definitely visit Wishon again. All of the staff and other campers were friendly and helpful.

Great area. The bathrooms were not very close to our tent site but were clean and nice. Liked the tent platforms. Potluck dinner was a fun idea and the food was delicious.

Nicest Stay In The Central Sierra

We have been going to Wishon Village RV Park since 2009.My wife, daughter, son in law and 3 grandkids arrived on Saturday, The office staff was really friendly and placed us in a great site with afternoon shade. The site was large and big enough for the kids to put up a large tent with plenty of room to spare. Our site was clean and the fire pit was empty. The kids went up to the Rec Room and made sun catchers. There are activities most days. The kids stayed until Monday and my wife and I stayed until the next weekend. I would like to say not to make the effort to go up there, so we could keep it to ourselves but that would be unfair. The fishing was good, the scenery fantastic. I did not visit the bathrooms or showers. I would guess based upon the rest of the park, they are nice as well.

A Jewel in the Sierras

Our extended family of 13 recently spent a week at Wishon, enjoying the family friendly atmosphere and generous sized campsites. This campground is out of the way, so campers need to be prepared to survive without cell phone service (WiFi is available if needed). The restrooms, showers and laundry were uncrowded and clean. We often stopped in at the store to purchase necessities like ice, charcoal and firewood (also ice cream treats). We especially like to hike and otherwise enjoy the great outdoors, and found several hikes at or near the campground. We were so happy with our experience, we already signed up for the same week next year.
