We just bought a new trailer so we decided to try out WishonVillage. We pulled in on a Tuesday and stayed 2 nights. It is located out there but it is worth it. Unfortunately there are 2 walking trails and we could not find either. They were overgrown and we were afraid we might get lost so we just walked the road to the reservoir, it was a nice walk and well worth it. It is beautiful up there. We do want to return and stay a little longer and hopefully the trails will be cleared and marked.

We had one of the rentals. The floor was not level and felt as if the lino was removed there would be holes in the floor. Had to rinse off soap in the shower with cold water both mornings. No idea why. There was hot water in the sink. The Aljo was removed and replaced with a more expensive cabin. I understand there is no oven . This would be a problem for me. The people and all the staff are very friendly and enjoyable. Everything is very clean. We have been going there for many years but the cost may soon change that.

Our stay at Wishon Village was nothing short of amazing. We brought the Harley and was able to experience CA in all of it's glory. we also did the hike from to Kings River from the camp ground. That is a must. To our surprise, it snowed in September so we had a snow day above Lake Huntington. We will definitely be back. Oh, I should not forget that some of the sites are the biggest we have ever camped in.
