    Description

Lounge in a luxurious indoor 12-person spa hot tub as you gaze at the splendors of Hood Canal. Picnic in a covered dining area and enjoy the seclusion of a private beach. It's all yours at Glen Ayr Resort, a premier location in Hoodsport, Washington. Travelers have their choice of lodging--king and queen rooms, one bedroom condo suites, a two-bedroom town house and full-hookup RV sites, most with views of the sensational sunrises and sunsets. Make a selection and then set up your reservation with easy online booking.

Glen Ayr Resort's deep water dock provides 10 moorage slips for boats up to 24 feet and is perfect for diving, crabbing and fishing. Dig for clams and oysters too during the season. What a mouth-watering treat to have a meal straight from the beach, with help from shellfish cookers and barbecues right at the park. Shoot a game of pool or play a card game in the clubhouse, which also features a fireplace, cable TV and a DVD player.

You'll find Hood Canal full of wonderful ups and downs: scuba divers around the globe plunge into the depths of the saltwater and skydivers take flight in the blue skies. Take a hike, hop on your bike, get out your golf clubs and start paddling your kayak--there's an endless supply of outdoor activities. Traverse the trails of the stately Olympic National Park, rich in rivers, old-growth forests and snowy peaks.

    Glenayr

What a pleasant surprise! The attention to this resort is impressive. We came with a group and used the gazebo for gatherings. Some of us camped in RV spots and some in rooms. We found the management to be very friendly and the whole place to be clean and in good repair. We will definitely return!

Great stay with one small comment

Great stay. Very clean room. Well furnished. Cold out so not having a/c didnt bother us. One small bad thing that took us a few times to figure out where the smeel was coming from... the lamp above the table smells sooo bad. It makes the whole room stink at times. Smells like super strong old sweat. May need cleaned or just trash it completely. I unscrewed the light bulb thinking it was heat that triggered it, but it smelled just as bad with the light out. Other than that. Great views of the lake. And great room and service. Everyone was super nice!

    Sep 2018 Stay

We have camped there before, however, the campground has had several owners over the years. The newest owners have made this park one that should be visited. The RV pads are now concrete and are very level. The staff was eager to help out as needed. Overall, it is once again a wonderful park to visit!!

Diving the local Hood Canal dives

We enjoyed staying at the resort. The people running the Park were very friendly and helpful. Our site for the RV worked well. My friend and I visited Sund Rock and Octopus Hole for dive sites and had good dives at each one. They have a dive locker to hang suits and a wash-down area for dive gear.
