    April 2019 Visit

This is one of the most scenic RV Parks I have stayed at. There are a lot of choices for views, spaces and you can make reservations. There is nice desert vegetation and trees, and also quite a bit of room between neighboring sites with trees between. They have a reasonably priced 9-hole golf course on site though it is not particularly challenging. Borrego Springs is not a mecca for tons of activities, but if you like to hike, play golf, ride ATVs, browse in quaint shops or go dining then it fits. Also, if you like the outdoors, peace, quiet and warm weather then this is the place to stay. My wife and I love their heated pool which is absolutely the warmest we have ever swam in for an RV Resort, and we love using it while there. The only real complaint we have, and unfortunately this is reoccurring, is during the spring break and most weekends when families arrive, and many times literally take over the pool. They tend to not observe proper etiquette or consideration for others using the pool. They think that it is basically their right to fill the pool with beach balls and float devices, and be rowdy including yelling, screaming, jumping and tossing/playing ball (rather unsafe). So during this time no one else in the park can use the pool enjoyably. We even witnessed an altercation when a person spoke up about the unsafe behavior, and was told by the "family adults" that the pool belonged to them, and if we wanted quiet for older adults then we can use the pool from 3:00 to 5:00 which was adult time. With most of the Resort guest being adults, you can not fit all adults in that pool between 3-5 pm, and we shouldn't have to. Proper etiquette signage might be helpful to prevent future altercations. Overall it is a great resort though expensive. However when you can't use all the amenities (pool), the value of staying here goes down. We will come back although maybe not as often as we have in the past.
