Very Large Campground
-Little river is fun for kids to wade in to catch crayfish and minnows.
-Bathrooms were fairly clean (except for the one by the pool)
-Wooded "Up North" Feel
- Close to Silver Lake Sand dunes and Michigan Adventure
-Very nice playground with a lot of fun equipment, a little log cabin, and a sand pile
-We were in the VERY opposite end of the campground from where the amenities are. Mostly with all the seasonal campers, who all had golf carts.
-Site was pretty small, could not have my awning out because it would be too close to the fire pit. Site was almost all sand, which can be tough to keep out of the camper. The seasonal sites were better maintained (probably by the occupants).
-Ask for a site by the playground or pool, otherwise you are very far from even a privvy!
- Pool was NOT HEATED, despite their advertisements. Nice enough pool, but you were not allowed to wear flip flops on the pool deck, which meant bare feet in the bathroom and shower (yuck). Also, you had to walk out of the deck area onto a dirty patio after swimming and step into your sandy shoes without anywhere to rinse. Would be nice to have a foot wash outside the pool gate too.
- The "arcade" was pretty terrible (as most campground ones are).
